RUBIXER WINS DATA HACKATHON!

What’s a Hackathon?  It’s a combo of “hack” and “marathon”, you could say it’s a marathon for hackers.  And in this case, our hackers are data analysts or data storytellers.

Our client NAB hosted a hackathon, bringing together data experts and to create in a collaborative environment to solve a certain problem.  The RUBIX team featured prominently at the event, proudly emerging victorious!

 

Addressing the last mile problem in analytics.

The Hackathon required participating teams to present a compelling data story gleaned from ABS data using Microsoft PowerBI.

The Hackathon submissions were evaluated based on:

  1. Design
  2. Usability
  3. Storytelling

With over 50 teams within NAB participating in the Hackathon, three finalists were shortlisted with one eventual winner announced – a RUBIXer!
